Consultant Registration

Welcome to the IDSS Consultant Database. This database is used by us to identify personnel for long or short term assignments on international development projects. Of particular interest to us are project design/management/consulting/formal training/monitoring & evaluation skills and experience in:

• community and participatory development
• education and training
• financial and economic analysis and planning
• governance (legal, political and electoral systems and institutions, human rights, government/private sector/civil society partnerships, NGOs/PVOs/CBOs)
• health (planning, finance, health sector reform and service delivery)
• human resources development and training
• natural resources conservation and management
• public sector strengthening and reform
• rural development
• social and gender analysis and planning
• urban and rural infrastructure
• water supply and sanitation

If you:

• have an affinity with Who We Are and What We Do, and
• are a development practitioner with extensive developing country experience, or
• are less experienced and possess post-graduate or graduate qualifications and a strong interest in working in the field of international development together with some relevant work experience, international or otherwise,

We invite you to register your details on our online database.

How to Register

1. Click on the Start Registration button.
2. Complete the registration form, making sure you click 'Submit' on the final page.
3. You can save an incomplete registration once you have entered your personal details, and come back to this at a later stage by selecting 'Save & exit' at the bottom of any page.
4. Attach a relevant CV to your online registration form where requested for your registration to be processed.
5. We will notify you by email if you have been accepted for inclusion on the database.

Important

Ensure that you keep a record of your username and password.

Your details will not be sent to IDSS until you have uploaded your CV and submitted your registration.

Update your details regularly. This will give you the best opportunity for selection for work. Once your registration has been accepted, you can update your details at any time from the Consultant Registration section of this site by following the link at the top of this page and entering your username(email address) and password.
