OBJECTIVE: To promote rural poverty reduction, with NGOs mainstreamed within more effective, efficient, and well-targeted Poverty Alleviation programs. The project objective is to formulate and demonstrate replicable models for NGO participation in government-funded village-level poverty alleviation efforts.

RESOURCES: IDSS in partnership with AusAID and the National Department of Health (PNG) produced an immunisation training CD-ROM, and community development documentary, as a part of the WCHP.
