Nathan Rabe

Portrait of Nathan Rabe

General Manager

Nathan came to IDSS in August 2007 with twenty years experience as a manager and leader in the international aid, development and humanitarian sector. Commencing with the UN in Pakistan in 1988, Nathan's professional life has seen him represent organizations, design and implement innovative programs and manage large teams across five continents and in a variety of development contexts.  Since joining the company, Nathan has set a bold new course for IDSS by leading the development of its business in India. "While international aid has accomplished much in the past sixty years, today's world requires companies like IDSS to look and move beyond the old aid paradigm. I believe we can have a greater impact on poverty by adopting a more entrepreneurial approach to development."

Nathan is a weekend novelist and photographer, a passion he doesn't get to indulge as much as he'd like.

Nathan speaks English, Hindi and Urdu.
