With a mission 'to promote quality learning and contemporary development practice for the benefit of the community', we develop evidence-based training programs that reflect and challenge current international development thinking and approaches.

Experienced Practitioners

IDSS offers an annual training schedule of short courses designed to meet the needs of experienced development practitioners.

Emerging Practitioners - Students

IDSS training courses are also suitable for students of international development – the industry’s emerging development practitioners. Students attending IDSS courses with follow-up assessment tasks may claim advanced standing towards their tertiary studies, subject to approval by concerned university/institution.
 
IDSS also provides tailored programs for higher education institutes meeting the requirements for accredited courses as part of postgraduate degrees in International Development.
