Training Registration 

Registration/Enrolment

 

1. Please download and read the Training Policy for IDSS Professional Development Program before applying for registration/enrolment in IDSS courses.


2. Download the IDSS Professional Training Enrolment Application Form and submit the filled out form to IDSS by email (training@idss.com.au) or fax (+ 61 3 8683 1444). Please note, all applicants are required to accept the terms and conditions set out in the Training Policy for IDSS Professional Development Program.

3. IDSS will immediately contact the applicant in response to his/her enrolment request. In case you do not hear back from IDSS within two working days, please contact IDSS on + 61 3 8683 1184.

4. IDSS will issue a formal confirmation and tax invoice against each enrolment request.

Payment of Course Fees
 
1. The invoice issues by IDSS will have details about the course fee amount and methods of payment.

2. IDSS accepts payment in the following methods – cheque/bank draft/pay order; deposit to designated IDSS bank account; or by credit card (Visa and Mastercard only).

3. Participants are required to arrange the payment within 21 days of invoice date or before the course commences, whichever occurs first.

4. All payments for attending IDSS training courses are subject to the cancellation and refund policy set out in the Training Policy for IDSS Professional Development Program.   

Cancellation and Refund Policy
 
The following is a selective extract from the Training Policy for IDSS Professional Development Program. Please download the full document for further details.
 
IDSS reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any course due to an insufficient number of participants or for any other unforeseen circumstances at any time prior to the commencement of the course. However, IDSS will try to advise the participants as early as possible of any such events.
 
If a course is rescheduled or cancelled, paid participants will be offered a full refund or credit note or alternative dates. IDSS will also try to accommodate alternative arrangements acceptable to the participant.
 
IDSS cannot be held liable for any financial loss incurred by the participant (or its sponsoring organisation) due to rescheduling or cancellation of any IDSS course. In cases where the participant is travelling interstate or from overseas to attend an IDSS course and incurs financial loss to reschedule or cancel his/her travel and accommodation bookings, the participant will be eligible to claim 10% discount on the applicable course fee for the next IDSS course the participant or his/her nominated representative wishes to attend.

 

Participants enrolled for IDSS courses will have the right to cancel their enrolment subject to the following conditions:

  • Participants must provide written notification to IDSS to cancel enrolments.
  • After receiving written notification from participant, IDSS will refund the fee according to the number of days left before the commencement of the course:

- 11 or more working days: 90% refund – please note that IDSS holds 10% to cover administration cost.

- Between 5 to 10 working days: 50% refund of the total course fee.

- Less than 5 working days or no show at the course: No refund.

  • Whether IDSS has received payment or not, the participant will be charged cancellation fees accordingly.
  • To avoid deductions, a suitable person replacement may attend the course instead of the registered person without charges.
  • If a course is rescheduled or cancelled, participants who have already paid will be offered a full refund or cedit note or alternative dates as per the provisions explained in the ‘Rescheduling and Cancellation’ section of the 'Training Policy for IDSS Professional Development Program'.
  • All fees will be refunded by cheque.
  • In case of overseas participants, the same refund policy is applicable and IDSS agrees to discuss suitable refund methods with the participant. However, IDSS reserves the right to deduct any additional expenses incurred due to overseas refund procedures.
