Who is it for?

This course is designed specifically for People Managers and Human Resource professionals from any industry or sector.
 

Course Description 

 Our level of confidence impacts so much of our effectiveness and productivity.  There are not too many leaders who lack confidence and we all admire those with healthy levels of confidence.  The topic of confidence is becoming a subject of increasing discussion within organisations as they seek to positively impact productivity, effectiveness, and workplace relationships.  People Managers are often expected to understand the levers which impact personal confidence and how to support the growth of confidence in those in their care.

  • Understanding what confidence is and how it impacts workplace performance
  • Sources of confidence
  • Understanding what causes the loss of confidence
  • Identifying confidence levels in others
  • How to support the growth of confidence in others
 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course participants will be able to:
  • Understand the key elements to confidence and  be albe to broadly assess the confidence levels of employees
  •  Identify various practices which contribute to employees loss of confidence
  • Support the growth of confidence in employees through applying the learning from the course to his/her own work/practise environment

    • The above course fees are applicable for participants based within Australia only. All course fees are inclusive of GST and they cover registration, course materials and meals during the course delivery.
    • To qualify for Early Bird registration fees, course fees must be paid to IDSS within the early bird registration deadline. Beyond that the regular fee will be applicable to all registrations including the existing ones which were not paid within the deadline.
    • Overseas participants will incur an additional fee of AU$40.00 (inclusive of GST) to cover the additional cost of processing overseas payments and registration. Please click here for further information relevant to overseas participants.
